This is a little trick I learned from my Quilt Guild ladies. You can make a half-square triangle without having to mark the line down the center of the top square. I made a video with a little help from my very talented mad scientist husband.

This is very cool. I have a bigger plastic thingie that I tape down to my machine (they don’t sell them anymore–of course) that does all sizes–really quickly. So I was glad to find this little hack to teach others in my quilt group. By the way, this is still Elizabeth, but I opened up an email address just for quilting. I used to be shown as Letterpress. I wonder what they show me as now?
